 Oakfield Farm was voted The Best Wedding Venue for 2005 and 2006 in The Star Readers Choice. In every season, the beautiful old English gardens are the epitome of romance. With delightful touches such as complimentary welcome drinks, the service is unsurpassed. Food is no less important. At every wedding, snacks are served at cocktails before guests indulge in a four course menu which includes a plated starter, plated entrée, typical farm buffet and elegant plated dessert. MARRIAGE WORKSHOPS AT OAKFIELD FARM The “perfect wedding” is the fulfilment of a dream. The dream however, is only realised by careful planning, determination and of course, help. We challenge you to do likewise with your marriage to create the infinitely bigger and better dream of a wonderful marriage. Young and old, married or still dating, you are cordially invited to join us. The evening is open to all, irrespective of where they choose to wed, however to all couples who have booked their wedding at Oakfield Farm, we extend a complimentary invitation to the two of you. Family and friends are always welcome. The talk is conducted by Dr Anthony van Tonder, ably assisted by his wife, Michelle. These workshops have become so popular, that several of our couples have ensured that they never miss a single workshop. This is quite simply a great investment. Dr Anthony is the author of a book on Fatherhood, called “How to get your Dad Degree”, and Michelle is the author of a book on Motherhood called “How to get your Mom Degree”. They are also the developers of the first DVD course of its nature in South Africa, on blended families – “Breakthrough Steps to Step-Parenting”. They are also the presenters of their own “How To” DVD Series on topics such as “How to Apply the Five Love Languages”, “How to Communicate Effectively”, How to Resolve Conflict” and other related topics.
